The Represent an audio contest has now finished, some excellent pieces we're submitted and the results announced that Lashmush's track had got the highest overall score.

I feel like my little paddle into contest hosting was very sucessful, I may host another contest so watch this space!

I thought it would be cool if there was a contest where people would create pieces based on countries. Basically all you'd have to do is use instruments, melodies, or lyrics to represent a country of your choice, it's pretty simple.
For example, if you wanted to represent Japan you could use a Taiko drum and maybe mention something about Manga.

The Scoring System:
Contestants will be able to score a maximum of 20 points from each Judge. Every Judge will be looking at how well each entry does in the following sectors:

#1 Representation; (How well the song portrays the country allocated)
#2 Originality; (How creative was the artist? How original is this piece?)
#3 Sound Quality: (how professional does the track sound?)
#4 Errors :(Are there any notes out of key? Out of place drums?)
(If you haven't noticed, the mark scheme seems to spell "Rose", The judges have nicknamed it "The Score Rose")

You can gain 5 points from each sector, the judges total them up and you have your score from that judge. The scores for all three judges are then combined to give you your total score. (Which will be out of 60)

I've had serious writer's block lately, in making music. I looked back at the remake I did of Pretty Rave Girl (Not submitted here... yet) and realised what I was doing wrong, but at the minute I have a lot of Coursework to do.
I've applied for two Voice acting parts and hope it turns out well... :/
I also considered making Flash Movies, (my god, I'll have no life!) but all that coding put me off, it looks so confusing.

I've always wanted to write a story for a Flash animation and hope it's something I can actually do, I'm always willing to write something for anyone and t would probably inspire me to create more scripts, I have plenty of Ideas but I just don't have the motivation to learn Flash so I can bring my ideas to life, maybe I'm just lazy, but it looks like a lot of hard work! D:

Hey Guy's just thought I'd let you know that it's my Birthday tomorrow (November 11th), I will be turning 17, which is a year closer to 18!
So I hand you all some virtual cake and if you don't like the cake I'll hand you some jelly.
It may seem like a while snce I posted any new material but don't worry, I'm currently working on two projects which hopefully will be great, I've also been working on a script for a flash animator too, so that's something to look forwards to!

Anyway, make sure you add me to your favourite's list as you willl recieve something extra special at Christmas!

As you should know September is creeping around the corner and that's usually when People start preparing for Halloween (I hope).
Anyway, Time will be scarce as I have 6th Form to do and I've just got a weekend job. It will take me a while to complete a brand new song. I've decided to make a halloween song (It will probably be some Kind of Scary Eurodance track), I will make sure it is of good quality.

Once the Halloween is Done I will probably start working on a Christmas track, It will probably Be a cover of an existing Christmas song.
